CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The 19th Asia Pacific Congress of Paediatrics (APCP) is scheduled to be held from 26^th to 29^th July 2026 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The Abstract submission will be open from 01^st August 2025.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• Abstracts should be submitted electronically via the abstract submission portal.
• Abstracts should be based on original research, systematic reviews, clinical audits, case series or case reports related to paediatrics.
• One author is permitted to submit a maximum of three (3) abstracts.
• The presenting author should be registered with the congress within one-month of being informed of the acceptance of the abstract. If this is not complied with, the abstract will be removed from the Scientific Programme and the Congress Proceedings.
• The author/s should take full intellectual responsibility for the work described in the submitted abstract.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINE:

All Abstract submissions should conform to the following requirements and specifications.

• Language: All abstracts should be written in English(UK)
• Title: The title of the abstract should be concise but informative
• Authors: The author names should appear as first name followed by the surname. E.g. Andrew Smith
• Affiliations: Author affiliations should include the institution, city and the country at the time of conducting the research (Designations should not be included).
• Presenting author: Name, address, telephone number and email address of the presenting author should be clearly indicated
• Structure of research abstracts: Abstracts of original research, systematic reviews and clinical audits should be structured under the following sub-headings.
1. Introduction
2. Objectives
3. Methods
4. Results
5. Conclusions
• Structure of case reports: Abstracts of case series and case reports should be structured under the following sub-headings.
1. Introduction
2. Case presentation
3. Conclusions
• Word limit: The text of the abstract should not exceed 250 words. Tables, figures or references should not be included in the abstract.

• Subject area: The subject area of the abstract should be selected from the list below.

Once submitted, no revisions or alterations, including changing of the names of authors, would be permitted.
